Make Margo Happy

You guys! We only have a few weeks to settle everything and tie up all the loose strAAAHAHAHAHA okay so of course that's not going to happen, but two weeks should at least be enough time to resolve this particular plot line, even if we never see Lu Ann or Ruby or the Professor or Diane Devine or Trey Brooks or Lily or that smug creature or Taser Lady ever again.

So! Tommie, I'm going to need you to stop talking like a cryptic voodoo priestess, and Eric, you're going to have to get over the fact that you think Margo's most recent rejected suitor is a better companion than you, the beautiful white-haired man.

Exactly! Although with Mags Shulock in charge of story, we're likely to just get thrown off the cliff... with no hanging!

Well, since the end is near, let's give poor Mr. Bolle a little credit: Tommie's facial expression in panel 2 actually matches the words she's saying.

I keep hoping that Eric is just a red herring and that "the beautiful man with the white hair" turns out to be Frank Bolle. Like Margo is preparing a heartfelt tribute to her beloved artist or something.

Wow! A plot emerges! The strip is starting to make sense!

I have to say, I hope someone else takes over A3G instead of letting it just die, otherwise, I will really, really miss it! I clicked on the hyperlink "that smug creature" and scrolled down a few strips to see Lu Ann actually say "Harumph!" and "That smug creature pushed all my buttons!" How could you not LOVE a soap-opera comic strip where characters say things like that? *Sigh!*

I could do without ever seeing Lily again. ... BLEAT!

By this time, one hopes that Lily is a grown up doe with fawns of her own. (Provided that creature was even a fawn in the first place, and not a mutant space dingo.)

TUESDAY
In today's comic, Eric says that he's not an appropriate partner for Margo since, along with health issues, he's forty years old. Well, how old is Margo? Wikipedia says that the strip started in 1961, and, assuming that Margo was about 25 years old then, that would make her 79 today. So, if she doesn't have a problem with the age difference, why should Eric? Also, Margo has her own health issues, as this plotline demonstrates. (In other news, Wikipedia says that Margo is based on Joan Collins!!!)
