If you've been paying attention to the strip lately, you have more than an inkling that this is Tommie's mother. She is, as predicted, way dowdy. Presuming she doesn't get distracted by deli food along the way, we should expect Mother of Tommie to arrive at 3-G by mid-July.And, because I can't help myself with all these thought balloons, here's another strip in the "Thoughtless A3G" series.

mrvy! It was this phone exchange that makes me think Susan is Tommie's mom. It's not explicit, but I'd say it's very very implicit.
