Kind of seems like a big non sequitur to go from "Gabriella is erasing her ethnicity!" to "And now she wants to get all married??" Is the implication that she thinks Martin would marry her if she just didn't have that pesky accent? And stopped dying her hair? And looked just like Bobbie Merrill?

Ya know, there's a lot wrong with this conversation, but I'm inclined to let it go and see how it plays out for now. This stuff is so much better (which isn't to say it's necessarily good) than the dreck we just slogged through that it sorta feels like a breath of fresh air.

That's like saying this sewage overflow is so much better than the vomitorium hairballs we just slogged through.

BTW, I think Margaret Shulock should have to prove she's not a robot, every time she enters a storyvinto this strip.

I once had an ex go from talking about his parents' new house to news that he was getting married to a discussion about the weather - all in about 2 minutes. So yeah, non sequiter talkers are out there, especially when the subject is a touchy one.

I dig the way that Margo goes right from "Dad" to "Martin." So sassy!

I'm also glad that we've escaped the clutches of that sleeping pill Carol Collins. Yawn!
