Maybe the reason that Nina's mother died in childbirth is because she thought it was the stomach flu and decided to take a long walk by herself away from town. I hope that black puddle on the floor is a shadow and not Nina's water/bile that broke on the floor. Seriously, where is Tommie? I thought she would have sensed Nina's distress by now. Gaines Manor has a wine cellar but no clock?

Time to Deliver

Nina, for a high-powered, worldly businesswoman, you are a Grade A idiot. I'm pretty sure a normal response to going into labor doesn't involve sinking to the floor and prattling on to yourself about what to do next. And are we really expected to believe that miracle midwife Tommie has made Nina care about the baby--just a few weeks ago it was a total inconvenience to her.
Plus, there's not a single phone in the whole damn house???? I thought these folks were zillionaires!
