Tommie Means Well, But...

Margo's subtley nuanced finger pointing is heartbreaking!

Lu Ann is right. Grief is socially awkward. While Tommie time travels back to Sunday to reinvite the Professor to dinner, I have to figure out what to say about all these boyfriends dying without sounding insensitive. ....Too late? Anyway, come on, girls! Buck up! I'm sure you'll be able to find a couple of gentlemen who look just like Alan and Eric!

Wow... did she really just say "grief is socially awkward"? I mean, I know it's basically true but it makes her sound really... awkward. "You know what else is socially awkward? Looking people in the eye. And that thing when you're walking toward someone and you go to the left and so do they, and you go to the right and so do they, so you start crying and run away."

Socially awkward is when, on move in day your senior year of college, the first thing you see when you walk in the living room is the entire series, in six boxed sets, of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, and you're forced to confront your new roommates about it.

HAHAHA. No Maggie, I think socially awkward is when your new housemate doesn't know that you're the one who's living in the house and thought someone else was you. ;)

Hahaha! In the Play-by-play, socially awkward is an unintentional hit-by-pitch. "Oh, hmm, here you are at first base, didn't really mean for that to happen... yyyyeah."
