Seriously, A3G is showing an unprecedented amount of leg today. I'm thoroughly scandalized. I feel straight-up Victorian.
Still, I think all the legs might be an attempt to distract us from HEY I DON'T SEE ANY HIGH-CLIMBING FLAMES AT ALL! Just some weird horizontal floaty things that might resemble smoke if the colorists had used gray. Unfortunately, gray is exclusively specified for men's pants, shoes, and socks. And while I'm loving Margo's Hulk-inspired pajamas, didn't she fall asleep in her clothes? Wasn't Greg the one wearing pajamas? And what is that tiny little coffin doing in Margo's room?
It's almost Christmas, guys! Merrrrry Christmas!

Honestly, a coffin in Margo's room really doesn't surprise me. But what does surprises me is the calm serene look on Greg's face as he's standing holding Margo in the midst of the hallucinogenic mist. The drugs must have finally taken their effect. I think Greg is just imagining what legs look like as he's tripping.
My question: are there enough motion lines on Greg in the first panel?
Another attempt at roasting chestnuts on an open fire gone horribly awry, when will we ever learn? Oh well, Merry Christmas to you too!
Maybe it's been so long since we were told that I've forgotten, but -- where are Lu Ann and Tommie? Is Lu Ann off with Ruby on a trip? Is Tommie off delivering babies?
Or are they succumbing to smoke inhalation and nobody knows or cares?
I haven't seen Lu Ann since I started following this blog. I guess whenever she's absent I mentally file her as being in South Dakota!!!

mrvy et al: It was (briefly) explained (six weeks ago) that Tommie will be working a double shift at the hospital and Lu Ann will be with her cousin mom Ruby in Dallas for Christmas. On only wish she was in SOUTH DAKOTA!!! ...so uh, actually you guessed right on both counts!
I'm convinced this whole storyline is a dream sequence -- the constantly changing clothes, the weird color schemes, the magical smoke which doesn't debilitate nor mark its victims.... It's all just a dream.
The question is whose dream?
