Somehow it doesn't seem "You couldn't lose me if you tried" is making Margo feel any better. But the sweet emerald ring she got out of the deal brightens her right up.
For the record, Greg, she can definitely lose you - if she wanted to, she would. This is Margo we're talking about. She will also probably lose you, even if she doesn't try. Just ask her dead fiance. Oh, do you still not know about him? Oops.

Prediction: Greg tries to do his own stunts for the 007 movie and he gets injured or dies. Perhaps this injury leads to the revelation that Margo is a man-eating ice queen and they break off the engagement. Either way, Margo will shrug and grab a double espresso on her way to seek out Tommie to insult her about her apparent weight gain.
A ring that's a promise? Like a PRRRRRRRRRRROMISE RING?? Gosh, Greg. That's awfully old-fashioned for a 30-something Hollywood actor... living in New York. Moving to London. You and the Jonas Brothers must have a lot to talk about!

What a weak-azz 007. Even George Lazenby and Pierce Brosnan think Greg Cooper is a wimp.
I love how the background people are being absorbed by the 'twilit city', except for that one woman whose flesh has escaped thus far!
And the moving buildings are particularly poignant - Greg moves one hand slightly and they jump back a block or so! How romantic!!
Sigh. I remember the glory days when Greg's blazer was bright yellow!
