Third Visit This Month

It's over! The time of Lu Ann has passed. It's funny that Margo can end a story that's been dragging with just a few choice words. Now we get to spend some time with Governor Troglodyte and Zoey "Squiggles and Giggles" Ziggler... who is suddenly old? Maybe Greg spends so much time there because he's looking for a mother figure. Just like Don Draper!

A week passes? So we're never going to know where the governor sought out his couple of drinks and smart conversation? No big reveal?

Sigh.

I'm calling it- Zoey is actually a ''high-class'' madam, and the Gov is her best customer.

WHY IS ANYONE TAKING FASHION ADVICE FROM THIS LADY?????

It should be "who" is suddenly old, my friend and fellow A3G fan. It's the subject of the relative clause.

Zing, Dr. Grammarian. Zing. This is where Latin fails me, because translating ablative concepts to English has always confused me. I mean, this is a prepositional phrase, technically, right? But wait, if the Gov and Zoey were replaced with pronouns, and they're subjects, then the sentence should read, "Now we get to spend some time with he and she" not "with him and her"? It SOUNDS wrong (though I accept that sometimes proper grammar does).

ANYWAY Zoey's terrible at fashion, can we all just agree she's terrible at fashion guys
