Inside the Lawyer's Studio

"No, I just wanted to ask you a few questions. What is your favorite curse word?"
Please tell me I'm not the only one who saw him.

I really worried for a second there when I saw the words "tax lecture," but maybe something will come of this yet.

Oh man, as soon as I saw this, I thought, "Please tell me she says something about James Lipton". And look at that!

Just giving the people what they want... which is obviously James Lipton. Just glad I'm alone in this.

Martin's filing for divorce, I'll betcha. And then Bobbie will have a further meltdown and the Professor will feel worse for her and sucked further into the abyss... never-ending cycle of misery we've got going on here. Is anyone ever happy in this strip? I mean, besides Tommie's recent return to musical theatre (gag).

Tommie's return to musical theatre REHEARSALs, you mean. I can't imagine Tommie being involved in any sort of performance.

And yes Casey, Bobbie's lawyer totally and completely looks like James Lipton. His outfit his... "hair", his beard, his glasses, his facial expressions. Looks like somebody's an Inside the Actor's Studio fan!

Now hmm, what could this lawyer-y business be all about? From my experience with lawyers, yes, this is about money. Which probably means that it isn't! I'm betting that Ackerman was just calling to check in with Bobbie, see how she's doing, mayhaps try to follow up on the flirting that Bobbie no doubt engage him in to get a discount on his services.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the artist was watching Actor's Studio while doing this -- but anything that makes the art more natural is probably the right choice.
