Conspiracy

Lu Ann is looking a little better today--a little more Geena Davis, if you will--but I have a sneaking suspicion that McClure is onto something: these are stand-ins. Lu Ann and Margo have disobeyed Kat, and they're back at the apartment, sitting around in the only outfits they have left: white sweatsuits. Tommie probably went through with it, though whether she's in on Kat's plot or not remains to be seen.

Alternate theory: these are the A3G girls, but after the makeover, the strip will take a hard-hitting look at how reality show makeovers turn out after the cameras turn off. How soon will Lu Ann have the new color stripped out of her hair? How many days until Margo finds herself unconsciously stringing her hair up in a bun? How long can Tommie resist buying shirts with strange rounded collars? How long??

Lu Ann might look quite nice, and feel more herself, with the color stripped out but keeping the curly 'do. The cut is flattering enough. But the toga has to go.

I like that she says she feels grown up when she looks like a little child with Kat looming over her. But right after that she's grown.

Lu Ann's hair is unfortunate, but Kat did threaten to punish her friends if she disobeyed. I don't know if they are the real A3G girls or not, but I really thought this was going to be a makeover for the whole strip, bring it into the 1970's or something. I'll bet Tommie is a blonde though, and Lu Ann hates it! Lu Ann will have to learn what it is like to live as a Ginger-American.

Oh the drama we shall see when their roots grow in.

Re: 9/11 strip -- Rich brown? Kat said RICH BROWN???? The colorist hangs her head in despair and decides to defiantly stick with the ginger!
