Old Aunt Kitty

I thought Kitty was supposed to be in her mid- to upper-twenties, but now I'm guessing she's about 130 years old from her homespun wisdom and her charming reference to makeup as "paint and powder." However, I don't think she was expecting Tommie to call her out on that little platitude. Tommie is dead serious. "You'd better be right Kitty. Because I won't go back to being the old Tommie. You can't make me! I can't go back to being Margo's errand boy!"

Even though it seems like to a degree they're playing this for self-referential laughs - with overtones of cults (especially the more moderate ones like "est" in the 70s and 80s) - still, this entire storyline is insanely creepy. From the pupil-less eyes of the two demon women running this insane show to the crazy and unnatural dialog from tommie, luann and margo, the entire line is more than unnerving.

I'm a little worried we may find out that this storyline is one long dream of Tommie's.

How many people here are old enough to remember when Margo was the sexy, sophisticated secretary to Byron Frost, and looked like Joan Collins, Tommie the nurse looked like Lucille Ball, Luann was the cute blonde looking like Tuesday Weld, married to the rich Gary Powers who was killed in Viet Nam? Is Admiral Powers still alive, or has he aged and died when the rest of the cast remained forever young? Luann became a very rich woman when Gary died. What happened to her fortune? Remember Professor Papagoras and his love affair with Eden Lowry? Professor was much more likeable as his chubby self; and what about Wilbur and Wendell? Can you all tell that I'm a long time fan? LOL
