In the Wee Hours...

It might be a little soon to call this after just two panels of resuscitated Margo, but she seems totally fine! Like, yeah, probably genuinely hungover, but not as teary, wheezy, near-deathy as I suspected. Good thing no one called her parents! CHUCKLE chuckle chuckle!

So Greg is fine, Margo is fine, Tommie finally had time to put down her bag--I guess that's everyone!

Margo is in critical care and may have lung tissue damage but this state of the art Manhattan hospital uses no ventilator or heart monitor? No oxygen tube in her nose? No IV drip? Can't Frank just look at his own life giving machines and draw the same wires and tubes coming out of Margo's near death corpse?

Margo just wakes up with a wicked hangover. Greg rubs some butter on his burns. And Ari is dead.

That's another fine mess you've gotten me into.

Hey yeah... this is critical care? Margo's lungs are severely damaged and she doesn't even need an assist from a ventilator? HMMMM. That's all I have to say. And how did Tommie get on the other side of her bad so quickly??

From the looks of this, it appears Greg is already filming the latest James Bond movie...the makeup people did a great job on Greg!

So it's like every other day for Margo McGee, Irish Drunk Extrodinaire...

I take offense to that last comment. I'm half Irish and half drunk.

@Sugar Packet,

It's a really overused technique of the 'artist' who draws A3G to suddenly switch viewpoints... usually unsuccessfully and always for no apparent reason. I think this one was supposed to be switching from Margo's right side to her left side... but then whassisname didn't put the elements in the right place. Or something.

You forgot LuAnn! LuAnn is fine.

Lu Ann is not fine! Ruby took her to Dallas for the holidays and then got locked up when he shot Oswald live on national television.

I hope Lu Ann is not involved in any conspiracy to assassinate President Kennedy. I know her husband was shot down over Viet Nam, so she may have had hard feelings against JFK.

Yeah, everyone's just fine... until they get back to their apartment and find the professor in a heap on the charred floor. "Oh yeah! Didn't we say we'd check on him, like, 10 times and then forget?"

I just want to mention that Ari's last conversation was to Greg: "Chest... Pain... You... Go... Ahead!... Greg." and Greg said "Are you kidding? Forget it, we're sticking together!"

Reeeal nice, Greg.
