Real Politics


"To be honest with you Lu Ann, when I ran for governor, I thought I would be doing meaningful work.  Improving education for all of our children.  Reducing poverty.  But I'm here at a cocktail party looking at a bunch of squiggles and talking to an air head who thinks that the only important and impartial decision that I have to make today is whether to give her orphan art class a thousand bucks and the key to the city.  I've made a huge mistake..."

Interesting. I read this as the Gov. being borderline corrupt. The sleaziness will prove irresistible to Lu Ann, of course!

Must be Shulock's life philosophy! You have to admit it does make things easier. You can not care and still feel like a good person... who is just being a bit naughty...
