Actually what's really embarrassing is that in these two panels, Mother of Trog already looks more stylish than fashion icon Zoey Ziggler AND Governor of New York Peter Russo. Seriously, I think this is the first time I've seen a woman in this strip with an appropriate hair style.

Trog looks like a waiter at a 1960s restaurant.
Governor Trog also kind of looks like Lee Ecuyer, the dad of "Zippy the TV Chimp." A chimp would add so much to A3G. Maybe I just miss Prissy the Wonder Cat.
My God, let's hope a drunk Margo crashes this snorefest. Or a drunk Tori/Lick. Or a drunk Marty. Basically any random drunk will do. Or perhaps Cole's recently acquired ghost form!
