LATER... okay, so I guess Margo's parents didn't need any direct comforting about the whole "coma" thing, just getting scooted into her ER bay was enough. Eric was upset about the whole thing, but now he's not, because he did get to spend the whole night with her by pretending he was a chair. A night spent watching over Margo's nonverbal-but-not-yet-comatose body.
We have a lot of loose ends to tie up before Margo emerges from this coma. Will Greg Cooper, who appeared to us as if in a dream back in June, impact this plot at all? What about Margo's pal from the streets--will she return to Margo with a nice roll with butter, as promised? Are we ever going to see Diane Devine again? (Answers: maybe, no, and probably not.)

What, is Tommie Margo's gatekeeper? Tommie, and only Tommie, decides who gets to see comatose Margo and when.
I find myself looking past the vaguely scribbled humanoid figures and concentrating on the backgrounds. For example, the dark green cross-hatched mass looks like one of those padded blankets that movers use. Are we back in the apartment and the other girls are already moving Margo out? Or is that the hospital break room, and they're getting a new table? Anything to ignore Shulock's alleged storyline.
I'm so glad Eric restored his peace with some meditation. He looked about ready to fly off the handle in Saturday's strip!
Sorry, everyone. Word in the industry is that A3G will be gone by the end of the year.

It was inevitable, I suppose, that a strip so hopelessly adrift would be put out of its misery. Hope Shulock rallies to give the girls a decent send-off.
And I hope that our excellent hosts consider turning their attention to Judge Parker or Rex Morgan. Keep soaps alive!
Well, Lu Ann is already gone. Margo'll probably die. Maybe Tommie and Eric will go back to Tibet together and run a meditation retreat...
Fellow A3G enthusiasts, I just stumbled across this blog, with some entries you'll enjoy!

@Anonymous: Well that's just sad! Really, no one wants to take it over? I'm an artist, I'll do it. Does someone want to write it? Heck, I'll do that, too. What's the salary? Low teens, probably. Who needs food and shelter, anyway?
I don't know why I keep up with A3G, but it is compelling for some reason. Even if my dedication now is just to see how low the bar can be set, I still tune in. Time for a racy revamp!
I'll be curious to know more of the story. As with some of the other commenters, I'll confess to very mixed feelings. Certainly, a part of me would like to see the strip rebooted and returned to an over the top - in a good way - fashion.
Anonymous: While we've all had our suspicions about how long this show could go on, this is the first concrete (if uncited) evidence that the end is truly near. Thanks so much for the tip, I'll be sure to acknowledge it in my post tomorrow.
Over in the Comics Curmudgeon thread on the matter, it was mentioned that artist James Allen would like the job; he's done great stuff on "Mark Trail" lately (taking over from a guy who had been crudely tracing old strips.)

Bear in mind that we still have no official word on whether the report of the strip ending is true.
