I was pretty sure Lu Ann would keep her clothes on in the bath, this being the 1950s and all, but in today's strip, it looks like she's really naked! Given, you can only see from the chin up, so she might be wearing a body suit.

No danger Maggie. Her "lemonade" glass is empty, and so I presume her bathtub will be too. I guess those are powerful symbols of an empty life.
Do these "girls" really live in Manhattan? And their apartment isn't air condioned?
