It's Time

Oh boy. Ohhhhh boy. Am I seeing the genesis of Dr. Thompson, Animal Doctor right before my eyes??

They said a woman doctor vet could not survive alone in the new frontier Manhattan. But I won't give up. And I'm not alone anymore! I've inherited a family deer, and that may be the biggest challenge of all her name is Lily and she's awesome and I don't need a dumb regular job anyway.

...hmm. Is it more effed up to inherit a family or a deer?

What? No exchange between Margo and Tommie which goes something like this?

"Tommie, what are you doing home?"

"What are you doing home, Margo? Don't you own a gallery or a PR business or something?"

"Never you mind my business, missy! Answer the question!!"

"I'm home because I got fired or put on leave or something. I really don't know and there is absolutely no paperwork to refer to. Apparently, there is no HR department at Manhattan General Hospital!"

"Why don't you call your boss to find out what's going on?"

"Not now! I need a vet for Lily! She's lying on the floor and looks really, really skinny - like a skeleton with a fur rug over it. She's not moving, either. Do you think I should have been feeding her or something these past few weeks?"

[Margo is stupefied]

"In fact, we're overstaffed at this hospital right in the heart of Manhattan. Take all the time you need, you know this place is empty like 90% of the time anyway. "

What do you guys think it's like to live in Shulock's world?
