Strength

Er... alright then? Can we move on from this storyline now? Tommie is  a HIGHLY trained nurse so of course she should be stronger than to allow the very recent and sudden death of her fiance affect her for more than a moment. Tommie goes all Scarlett O'Hara, the Professor is like soooo done with this and wants to go home, and that's that. But I guess she still has that whole deer in the apartment thing going for her, so score one for Tommie?

I guess we all know which classic movie Shulock has in her VCR right now.

I really hope this means that somehow Jim can be reincarnated as a deer or maybe possess the deer in the apartment. Then they can never get rid of it!

Eric, I LOVE your idea! Perhaps there can be a spinoff strip, Yes, Deer. Jim's thoughts would be seen in a bubble over Lily's head, and Tommie will be the only one that can hear them in Jim's voice. Of course, Margo will eventually have Tommie committed to a mental institution, and Lily will end up at The Professor's favorite Greek butcher shop. The last we will see/hear of Jim/Lily will be a dramatic ''Nooooo!!!'' as he/she becomes some tasty venison Gyros.

@Madame Zelda: If I ever become rich, I'm going to buy out King Features Syndicate and make the writers do this storyline.

For now I'll just wish really really hard.

Is it just me, or did this storyline linger wayyyyy too long on Tommie's grief? I mean, jeez, finally she's over this guy! She was sobbing for a whole panel!
