Three hours? That's nothing Tommie. Margo will gladly pay for your gas and lend you her EZ-Pass transponder. I mean it's not as if you'll see Lily again. Everyone that you love
only takes one-way trips. So is this the end of the Tommie storyline, or does Jack Riley have that certain generic A3G man charm to rescue to Tommie from her loneliness?

Knowing Shulock, there will be a strip where Tommie talks about leaving Lily at Jack Riley's "pet farm" and that will be that. But who knows, really. I would like to see Frank attempt to draw a pet farm, I really do!
Wha? Is that the end of the--most absurd!--deer "plot"?
What would that dreamy Evan have done? Bring back Aunt Cathy! She'll whip these roommates into shape!
Jack Riley will be a charming widower, whose late wife, coincidentally... was named Lily! Tommie & Jack will bond/commiserate over their respective losses, then look on in awe, as Lily frolics with another deer. That other deer will coincidentally be named Jim. ( Cause hey, Bambi & Rudolph are so cliche!)
Hakuna matata!
Now I'd really like to see Frank try and draw a pair of frolicking deer!! Hilarious!!
