Anyway, I was going to go back in the archive and remind myself of what Gary's deal was, but then I saw some strips with Margo and I decided I'm going to pretend that this is today's strip instead:

I, for one, fully support this.
I do think it is interesting to see the transformation of Alan's schnoz between panels two and three. I'm almost positive panel three schnoz has been used on other characters: Gina? Margo even?
Ha! I'm with you! Tommie is on some drug mule-porn star fantasy. I want my own fantasy! Whoo hoo! Bring back Margo! !
Somewhere, someone actually thinks this is interesting. Right now they're nodding as they read Tommie explaining her ex. "Yup I remember that guy! What a doozy of a storyline that was!" Now they will eagerly await for Tommie to describe the next guy.
So far, Gary is the only actual boyfriend in Tommie's 'string of boyfriends'. Neil kissed Tommie a couple of times at a party, then invited her and Gary to another party about a year later. And her father is most definitely not a boyfriend!
Today's (Friday's) non-boyfriend is evil Dr. Joe, who took Tommie out a couple of times while she was mad at Gary or confused about his proposal to get married and move to Denver.
I can't believe I know all this stuff. Aieeeeeeeee!!!
Yawn! Why can't they treat us to a lovingly long retrospective on Margo's old boyfriends, particularly that dreamy Evan Graham!
Also, why is Tommie calling Lu Ann "Carol"? I don't get it.
We do not approve of all this pre-marital lovin'!
