Of course Maggie is on a business trip to an internet free bunker the week that Tommie starts to rattle off all her old boyfriends, so she can't explain who this Neil Flynn character is. Any other longtime A3G readers who can enlighten us?
If nothing else, I hope that Carol's gravity defying forelock continues to make sassy girlfriend comments for the remainder of the list of Tommie's "boyfriends."

They talked about it over at the Comics Curmudgeon the other day.
The Comics Curmudgeon notes that Flynn appeared in 2007 and was “in no reasonable sense Tommie’s boyfriend.” This is amusing enough in itself, but what really astonishes me is that in a strip that goes back to the 60’s Tommie’s first "boyfriend" only appeared in 2007!? Margo really needs to let T out of the kitchen and off the leash a little more often.
I find it hilarious that Mags Shulock decides to write a story about Tommie's romantic history and can't even remember a boyfriend more recent than 2007. She's been writing the strip since 2000! Also, it's not like she couldn't do a bit of research.
Way to do a quality writing job, Mags! But I guess if you were a competent writer, the strip wouldn't be so hilarious... or as hilarious as I hope it will be once we get back to NYC and it's not just Carol and Tommie endlessly talking and being creepy.
Yikes!
Yup, a boyfriend. During that time when A3G was actually drawn well.
Well... drawn better than it is today. You have to go back to the 1970's to get "drawn well".
Oh, I forgot to mention to Megan and others that the Comics Curmudgeon has an archive. You can search by comic, year and month. The boxes are right at the top of the front page. Check it out!
