Ohhh what's the other side of it? Based on the look she's giving in the second panel, she got into her dad's painkillers and developed a lifelong addition? (That might explain a lot about Tommie.) She never actually went to school because she stayed home taking care of her father? (That might explain a lot about Tommie.)

So, Tommie is going to recount her life since the age of ten? This may take a while, given the pace of this strip. (If Mary Worth is glacial, A3G is slow on a cosmic scale.)
We could compare the pace of this strip with the continuing rebounding of the North America Plate from the last ice age -- about 1 cm per year in the Adirondacks, for example.
Also, I nominate today's strip for the creepiest A3-G strip to date -- far creepier than Lu Ann and the Stepford family!
Speaking of the sides of things, I suspect that what we have going on in today's panel is an example of a moebius fence. You can keep walking around it as long as you like and while you will end up on the other side, you'll never reach the end.
Whaaaa??? The last thing Tommie said was, "I'm going to start my story with a string of boyfriends, Carol." And now she's talking about playing nurse with her father. Yikes! I'm putting two and two together and getting thoroughly creeped out!
I'm with you, DWET! The jump from Sunday's comment to this storyline is seriously cringe-inducing. Wow, gross.
That is creepy. But I dig the painkiller idea. That sounds exactly right on.
Can they please change their clothes?????
