Yeesh

For today's post, I'm just going to refer you to the poll at the upper-left hand side of the site. Which is more excruciating, getting through one of your own particularly trying meetings at work, or watching Margo try to get through this meeting with her dad?

My two cents: while I'm dying sitting through this, especially when we must be right on the cusp of Bobbiegate, Martin waving around his dollar bills elevate this a hair above my biweekly marketing catch-up meeting.

Back when I was having morning meetings, I would have loved to have someone stop by and start threatening to hand us a pile of money!

When Bobbie shows up, I hope she pulls a Baldy McCrackhead and starts gunning down secondary characters. Like, say, Tommie.

I have too many meetings to say this is worse than my own. I think I probably devote, on average, a couple of hours a day to some kind of meeting, and most of them are very painful. This is a lot funnier. And there is still the hope of Bobbie showing up...

In high school I had a summer job doing filing at my father's company. We never had a meeting together, but there were still awkward moments. I never knew how to refer to him when I was talking to coworkers, and he sneezed so loudly that I felt like I had to apologize for him. Still, even as a teenager I was never as embarrassed as Margo is here. Imagine her embarrassment if crazy old stepmom shows up!
