Bobbie, you're being unfair. Martin's helped plenty of people! Like how about that apartment building he bought to keep Gabriella sheltered? He didn't just buy it to make bundles becoming a slumlord. And remember when he went to India with Margo? That.. was helpful. It was really nice that he presumably took care of booking all the flights and hotels! Now don't make Martin slap you with that tiny arm sticking out of his chest.

It's been pretty awesome, but yeah, I'm starting to feel things slowing down again. Don't disappoint us!
Yea it seems no actual shooting will happen, but there might be some promise in them being on the staircase... maybe someone will fall? Throw some pills down the stairs, Martin...
Or maybe the Professor will come in and she'll accidentally shoot him and Ruby will have to nurse him back to health since Tommie is off playing the piano.
Ok, I'm officially way too involved now.
As I said over at CC: Where is the big "kaboom"? There was supposed to be an Earth-shattering "kaboom!"
Indeed. Good can always come out of evil, and perhaps the Prof and Ruby finally finding true love while she nurses his wounds will be the good that comes out of this story.
Then we can return to a more lighthearted, less tension-fraught storyline, like the resolution of "I Dressed in the Dark." Let's outfit Tommie for her bar-piano career.
