surprise engagement party?? What a family. It'll be a tiny bit sad when Paul proposes and Lu Ann gets flummoxed and turns him down and runs away and passes Rose Linski and the Family Band hiding behind a bush, fully expecting to strike up "Here Comes the Bride," buuuut... won't that also be pretty awesome?

Come on, there has to be something I can do to be useful -- scrape the dishes, wash the dog...just so I'm not alone with Paul, who would probably propose. Just so you understand, this strip is called Apartment 3-G, not Apartments 3-G and 3-H.
Not a good sign that Paul isn't on the clean-up crew. Quick, LuAnne, find out if he knows how to run the dishwasher, and if not, RUN!
I am addicted to this thing. I now have a subscription to a US-based newspaper (I am in the UK), that I may better appreciate the full majesty of its glacial... I want to say 'progress', but this strip doesn't progress, does it?
