Would darkness fall on 3-G if it is still light inside? Wouldn't it be better said that "darkness fell on 3-G?" Maggie, you're the grammar maven, let me know which works better.
I, for one, was hoping for more details. Who's Lu Ann's father? How did Ruby find herself a knocked up, presumably unwed, fifteen year old girl on the South Dakotan prairie? Am I correct that South Dakota has prairies? Can someone draw me a family tree?
How many sick and injured children has Tommie saved since last we saw her. And how many of those children were poisoned or run over by Margo?

WHAT whole story? We don't get the whole story? Apparently not. Humph!
And during which part of the unheard story did Lu Ann get the upper-lip collagen treatment?
Will Lu Ann start wearing hairbows in solidarity?
Not to mention Megan's excellent points. So many questions!
Doe this mean we get to see LUann tell Ruby "When I pictured a loving mother, I kind of didn't picture those damned ribbons in your hair."
I think darkeness falls on A3G and the whole city. In A3G they have electricity.
Comics Curmudgeon posted a strip from 2007 that he said was Ruby's arrival in NYC. The hair style was right, with ribbons and bows but she was blonde and called everyone "sugar".
Did Ruby just yada yada yada over the best part? She didn't even mention the bisque.
We stick with Lu Ann throughout the summer of Linski and this is our reward?
Since they refuse to give me answers, I can only assume the real story is that of Little House on the Prairie Season 7, episodes 17 and 18. The two part episode where Sylvia (aka Ruby) is assaulted by a mime. Sylvia dies in the story but that was Michael Landon's sensationalism. Ruby actually survived the ordeal and was forced to give up Lu Ann.
I now understand why we don't get the whole story, mime assault doesn't belong on the funny pages or on television.
And on another note: Tommie is going to be real disappointed to learn that she's now the only housemate who was raised by her own birth mother. LuAnn and Margo can now talk about their long lost mothers over coffee. Ruby and Gabriella can share hair styles. And Tommie can sit alone, depressed, pathetically wishing she was afopted too.
@Ken - I remember the LHOTP mime episodes! I saw them in reruns about when I was first home full-time as a young mother, and wondered what Michael Landon (RIP) could possibly have been thinking. If I'd seen them when the series first aired, I'd probably be scarred for life. At least I'd be terrified of mimes.
"Darkness falls in 3-G implies" the apartment should be dark. Or pitch black! No lighting at all. I'm surprised Frank Bolle did go for this method. You know, just two pairs of eyeballs and a few speech bubbles on a black panel.
P.S. THANKS A LOT for bringing up the LHOTP creepy mime thing, I looked it up and read the whole thing. Ick. Plus now my Google ads will forever think I'm a sick freak.
Your welcome.
I owe you a beer.
