Well, I'll give this much credit to "the story of how Tommie wore pajamas to her mother's wedding, parked in some random place to wait out 'the rain' that stopped instantly, and used a flashlight that looks like a gas pump to find a dead deer carpet in someone backyard": I really didn't see it coming. Is she... still in Pittsburgh? Pittsburgh, man! Those deer.

Tommie is back in town after how many months and her story seems to kick off surrounded by someone else getting married and road kill. This feels very appropriate.
Oh, I get it. Tommie takes the fawn to a wildlife rehabilatator who is a hunk, has a brain tumor... No! A teenage daughter... No! A problem only she can solve. Being torn between the Brit and the hunk ensues.
Is this going to be a non-New York-based storyline? How will readers orient themselves without all the familiar A3G settings???
@Sugar Packet,
It might get confusing. Pittsburgh rooms might not spin around and around as NYC rooms do. Also, maybe people will look at each other when they're talking.
Yep. That would be very confusing!!
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore—
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
“’Tis some visiter,” I muttered, “tapping at my chamber door—
Only this and nothing more.”
